Lowest End Video Camera Now Available at Target

"About a year ago a company named Pure Digital Technologies started selling a one-time use camcorder for $29.99. Apparently they were popular enough that people actually wanted to keep them and re-use them, so Pure Digital created a cheap digital camcorder called the Pure Digital Point and Shoot Camcorder. Selling for $129, the Pure Digital Point and Shoot Camcorder can hold up to 30 minutes of video at a time. The Pure Digital Camcorder has a pop out USB connector to connect to your PC along with TV cables. You can also play back and delete videos instantly from the tiny device."
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and venture that if we were grading video cameras on a scale of 1 to 10, this might be the zero upon which the scale was based. :wink: Seriously though, I applaud the fact that consumers were turned off by a disposable video camera, but I think this is worse. Those disposable video cameras were actually recycled into fresh ones to sell. This one will end up in the trash after its life cycle is over. And with a 90-day warranty, how long could that possibly be? I'll be staying well away from this one.
