Digital Home Thoughts: Apple Quietly Pulls 30-day Mac Mini Test Drive Offer

Remember yesterday when I told you all about Apple's 30-day Mac Mini Test Drive offer? Well apparently the folks at Apple have had a change of heart. As of today any mention of this offer has been removed from the Apple Store. Frankly I'm a bit confused as to why they offered this so called "test drive" in the first place considering it was really little more than the standard consumer product guarantee, or terms of sale, most retailers offer on computing and electronic gear. In that regard, every product you buy has a "test drive" period.
