"Reminder to everyone that WMA Professional decode in an AVR doesn’t cost $2,000 anymore. Pioneer has Audio/Video Receivers that start at $200 (VSX-515) that support WMA Professional decode over SPDIF. This means you can send the 5.1 audio from WMV-HD samples and DVD’s directly to your AVR. You can also rip a few DVD’s using WMV9 and WMA9 Professional and send that audio right through too! A quick note about Pioneer’s online prices, don’t look at them and then write off researching the product. No one sells their products for the prices they list. Example, they list the VSX-515 for an MSRP of $275, Best Buy sells it for $200."

More information on the Pioneer VSX-515 can be found on their site. Their full line of products seems very nice. I have always ended up going with Technics products though. Has anyone tried Pioneer?
