"Interact-TV has just announced the availability of their 3rd generation media server called the Telly MC1200 Home Entertainment Server (MSRP $799). The latest version features a slimmer, quieter form factor, has the ability to rip DVDs to its hard drive for storage and instant viewing via the new Telly 3.0 release, and can accommodate up to three hard drives for a maximum storage capacity of 750GB."

The quick upside once could see is the great price, especially when compared to the Media Center Edition PC, and the large number of features that this Interact-TV allows is incredible. One can not only playback CDs, as well as rip and burn, but also build music and digital photo libraries and access Internet information including weather, a personal financial portfolio and movie listings. The Telly offers a save DVD feature which allows users to expand their video library so they can watch movies anytime. USB and Firewire interfaces are integrated in this well designed unit.
