Want to do Dual or Tri-Monitor Editing? Check This Out...

"MaxiVista includes a virtual graphics adapter which fools your primary PC into thinking that there is an additional monitor display installed. Windows enables its multi monitor capabilities and extend the desktop to an additional screen. The content of this extra screen is transmitted to your secondary PC via a standard network connection and displayed by the MaxiVista Viewer program...MaxiVista overcomes the limitation that Laptop/Tablet PC do not have a video input."

Now here's a cool solution! This allows you to use other computers nearby to get a multi-monitor solution in place. And because it runs over local CAT5, the latency should be quite low. If you've wanted to see what video editing it like with two monitors and have a laptop, this might be worth trying out.
