"Dell makes its entrance into the digital audio player arena with its Digital Jukebox, or DJ. With the option of 15 or 20 gigabytes, even the most avid of digital audio guru's will find there to be a hefty amount of capacity. Gaining an Editor's Choice award in October 2003 from CNET, the DJ certainly has gained recognition. The DJ can most closely compare to the Apple iPod, which has thus far, led the way in high-capacity digital music devices. Can the Dell DJ dethrone the iPod? Read on to find out.

Well, we are making new strides to expand the current borders of our current coverage to anything in the mobile world, excluding Palm based hardware and software. pocketnow.com is a Pocket PC Web site, so it's interesting to see their take on the Dell DJ. Worth a read! The one thing they don't list as a con is that you can't explore the device as a storage drive, which to me is a serious limitation. Although apparently with this software you can do exactly that. Cool! Any Dell DJ owners out there? What do you think of it? I ponder getting a device like that some days, but ultimately I realize that my "commute" from my bedroom to the office in my basement just can't justify a dedicated music player. ;-)
