I think this is a pretty neat concept, but the real revolution would be if HP dropped the prices of their ink cartridges by about 50%. That would make home-based printing more feasible; right now ink is so expensive, I'm not sure I'd be all that interested in printing an image without making sure it looked good via my computer.
