Ulead make a pretty big promise of video editing software that is easy on system resources, simple to use, and has a plethora of features. I was skeptical about whether it would be true, but after playing around with the software I've got to say, from the perspective of a newcomer to the video editing field, their product completely surpassed my expectations.
