"The Canon Pixma Pro9000 is a serious photo printer. It's bigger than the table I use for taking product photos. It's so heavy that it has wheels (seriously). It practically deserves its own zip code. This beast of a printer is made for doing one thing: printing high quality photos on paper that's not just big, but thick as well. There are no memory card slots, LCDs, or gimmicks. Just a lot of ink cartridges (eight to be exact) and a paper path that has to be seen to be believed."

If you are a fan of at home printing, having the ability to create large format prints on demand ranks up there as being pretty cool. At $499 and given the cost of the supplies you are going to need to feed this beast, I'd need to have exhausted other options before going this route.
