Worst. Software Install. Ever.

"I struggled for five days with four 802.11n wireless routers, trying to make them work the way they were supposed to. My wife has made me swear that I will never, ever review routers again. I’m inclined to agree. Home networking remains one of the world’s most frustrating endeavors; 30 percent of home-networking gear winds up getting returned to the store. Actually, I've seen worse. Being that the driver install is usually the first interaction that a customer will have with a company's product, I'd really expect a little more effort to go into the process. Given the number of purchases that get returned due to problems at this stage, it would probably be cost effective as well. So how about it, tell us your tales of woe installing software and drivers.
