Iriver's G2 Clix Review

"Flash based MP3 players have always had some of the worse hurdles to jump when it comes to setting new market trends. Despite everyone's collective efforts, every MP3 player has been burdened with capacity, battery, interface, video, or software integration issues that simply marred the overall experience when compared to the market leader. Well, it was bound to happen sometime, but one company finally caught up to and surpassed the competition. Meet the 2nd generation iriver clix, quite possibly the best flash MP3 player that money can buy. Read on as our in-depth review explains why."



The original clix by iriver was quite a machine. The only thing I had against it unfortunately continues in this next-gen design: the measly storage capacity. I know it's a flash-based player, but I really think 4GB is too anemic when it comes to toting your whole music collection or, Bob forbid, watching videos. Otherwise, this looks like a fantastic player. If you're looking for an alternate to the Nano, you could do a lot worse than the clix...
