"CyberLink Corp. announced today that online video blogging site "I'm Vlog" has incorporated key CyberLink technology to enable its online automated video service. I'm Vlog is a web service of I'm TV. With the growing affordability of video recording devices, and the increase in popularity of sharing media via the Internet, CyberLink has migrated its advanced video analysis technologies to the web. Working with I'm Vlog, CyberLink's automated video editing technology provides an easy way to create fun and compelling video content online. Users simply upload their video files to the I'm Vlog website, then click on CyberLink's editing tools to create a finished video. Based on leading technologies from CyberLink's MagicDirector and PowerDirector applications, the I'm Vlog service delivers the first Chinese internet video blogging site to offer automated video editing. The collaboration lets users benefit from a one-stop solution for uploading, editing, and publishing videos online."

I'm TV is Taiwan's version of YouTube, and I'm Vlog is obviously their vlog service. The site's entirely in Chinese so I couldn't exactly check it out, but CyberLink's online video editing tool sounds awesome and something YouTube might want to check out. It supports most of the common video formats, including DivX, WMV, MPEG-2 and MOV and mixing with audio tracks. And of course it allows you to post it directly to the I'm TV site. Any Chinese-speaking readers out there want to give it a spin and report back? What the heck is "Automatic video editing"?
