A Photo Every Day for Six Years

I don't normally post on YouTube videos here, largely because I think you should be getting your laughs elsewhere ;-), but I found a video today that is an interesting intersection between digital imaging technology and the impact it has on our lives. A photographer named Noah Kalina has been taking a digital photo of himself every day since January 11th, 2000 through until July 31st, 2006 - that's 2356 days and 2356 photos. The effect is quite striking, especially when you consider how he was able to keep the same facial expression and eyes in nearly the same spot in the photos. The haunting piano by Carly Comando (reminds me of Sigur Ros) adds a nice flavour to the project. If he keeps this up (I imagine he will) after 20 years he'll have the raw materials to do some very interesting morphs. ;-)
