"The HP Photosmart R927 ($399) is a compact 8.1 Megapixel camera filled to the brim with unique features. When I say "features", I'm not talking about the R927's 3X zoom lens or huge 3-inch LCD. Rather, I'm talking about the various bells and whistles on the camera, many of them exclusive to HP. They include Adaptive Lighting (a kind of "digital flash"), Image Advice (tells you how to improve your photos), in-camera panorama stitching, an elaborate help system, and much more. I am really impressed by the fact that 8MP cameras are now available in such small packages. It however is unfortunate that the picture quality is the weak point in the camera and the LCD blackout during continuous shooting is certainly quite annoying. I think the Canon and Casio cameras trump this camera quite easily.
