"It was only a matter of time, but hey, for those closely monitoring the progress of Windows on Macs, it looks like peeps on the OSx86 Project forums have fully done the deed with Vista on an iMac. We're not going to get into the nitty gritty right here and now, but it sounds like the trick is to get Vista to stop trying to kill the OS X partition when installing with Boot Camp..."

Somehow I missed this during last week's news cycle, but Vista has been successfully installed on a Mac using Boot Camp. The real question now is whether or not the release version of Vista will install on a Mac, or if Microsoft will take steps to prevent that from happening. Going even deeper...will Apple allow customers to purchase a Mac with Vista on it straight from the factory? If they did, I'd buy one, and I'm certain I'm not the only one.
