"...Casio’s latest offering, the Exilim EX-S600, is a mid- range 6.0 megapixel camera for those who want some serious photography power without stepping up to an SLR. Some highlights of the EX-S600 include an anti-shake feature, gorgeous movie recording in MPEG4, and extended battery life that lets you get great shots without the hassle of having to recharge the battery. With a $350 price tag, this camera isn’t in everyone’s budget, but it won’t make you take out a second mortgage either. The EX-S600 has a few problems and issues that some may find unappealing, but you can make that decision for yourself as we review this slim and sleek offering from Casio."

Why, why, why do manufacturers keep using proprietary connectors for their equipment? What makes them think this is a good idea? Do they think they're going to make a killing selling proprietary docks? Please. The only thing they're going to do is make us buy a different camera. Designtechnica gives it a 7 overall, but since Casio decided to go the proprietary route and make it so you couldn't transfer the pictures or even charge the camera without the cradle, I would never recommend this camera to someone else. Not when there are so many other options out there that use the same cable as everything else they already own...
