Former Blockbuster Exec Launches Online DVD Trading Service

"With over 250,000 DVDs in their McKinney, Texas warehouse, MovieBandits.com offers its customers direct “business to consumer” trading. This is in sharp contrast to “peer-based” trading service. Instead of mailing your DVD directly to another customer and then receiving fresh DVDs from an unknown source, customers trade directly with MovieBandits.com. This allows DVDs to be screened, cleaned, and sometimes repaired before customers receive them."
On the surface this looks like an OK. I looked through their site and the spread between trade in value and purchase price seems to only be a couple of bucks. This is better than the deal you can usually get at most of the used places local to me. Throw in the shipping and they are about on par, but they have a better selection. Unfortunately, I did a little more digging through their site and found what for me is the deal breaker.
"Almost all of our movies do NOT come with original case or artwork. When we do receive titles with original art, we'll be sure to ship those to you first."
