Alexander Grundner Weighs in on Songbird

"After reading BoingBoing's interview with Rob Lord, one of the lead developers of Songbird, a new freeware music application based on cross-platform technologies used in both Firefox and Thunderbird, I thought I give the "User Preview" release a try. Below are my initial findings..."



It's not often that an open-source application comes along to try and take on Windows Media Player, but Songbird seems poised to do just that. This short article covers some initial impressions that Grundner had when using the application. Looks like it has a long way to go, but that's not surprising given its open-source nature.
