"Seems Creative has been hiding a surprise up its sleeve. After the disappointing relaunch of the Zen Neeons, the Singapore-based firm has rallied just in time to score a big one this Christmas. And though it's more expensive than the iPod (S$548 (US$321.71)) at S$598 (US$351.06) with the same 30GB capacity, it does come with an adapter unlike the iPod USB power adapter (S$54 (US$31.70)) which is an optional extra. It's really a crying shame Creative didn't roll this thing out the door in time for the holidays (big mistake, guys), but I suspect they plan on making a major US launch starting next year. At least I hope it's a major launch with real marketing muscle behind it. This is the coolest media device I've seen so far, and if done right it just might have a real shot at challenging the iPod.
