"Ulead CD & DVD PictureShow 4 ($49.99) is a likable product that's easy to use and has great looking templates. Though it lacks ProShow's depth of features, PictureShow is a strong choice if your goal is to produce a good-looking DVD quickly. PictureShow controls workflow with three tabs atop the program: Organize, Theme, and Burn. In the organize phase, you import and sequence your slides, then add text captions and "props," or small image accents to insert into your slides."

I'm actually surprised that PC Magazine gave this product such a high rating giving it comes up short in one big area. I can't believe a company would release a product these days that doesn't export to WMV. I'm not a huge fan of the format, but given that it is pretty much the default video format on Windows you'd think they would allow you to export WMV. I'm sure the reasoning is that this program is really only for DVD/CD burning of "shows", but you still should allow exporting. At first look you see that Ulead's product is really inexpensive, but given its total lack of WMV export I couldn't imagine spending even $20 on a product such as this.
