Averatec 1000 Series

Averatec has a new ultra-portable laptop. It features an Intel® Pentium® M ULV 733 (1.1GHz), 10.6" WXGA with AveraBrite™, DVD+CD-RW, Hard Drive - 80 GB, 512MB DDR, Wireless LAN 802.11b/g, and USB (2x) 2.0. All this packed into just 10.47" x 7.97" x 1.16" and weighing it at only 3.6 lbs. I've already seen these at CompUSA for $999. I currently own one of their 12 inch models and love it. I stopped using my PPC when I bought the last model because it was just small enough that I could carry it easily in my bag. This new model looks even better.
