A Plasma Screen That Likes IR

"Did you know that plasma screens do not like infrared, you know, the technology that is commonly used to control your PC, DVD player or other remote-controlled devices. These devices might have difficulties working properly when being placed close to a plasma screen. This nightmare if finally over!!! The 42" NEC PX-42VM5FJ does not interfere with devices controlled via IR!"



Wow, I had no idea that this was the case, i.e. IR and plasma TV interference. Have you guys noticed thsi problem? Translated version of the page is available here.
