"Capable of projecting a 20-inch diagonal image from a foot away and a 40-inch image from less than a yard away, the $699 PocketProjector appears to be the ultimate mobile presentation tool. That means presenting any images or video from your notebook computer, DVD player, and gaming console for immediate use anywhere. The lamp, good for an unprecedented 20,000 hours, produces an SVGA (800 x 600 pixels) image, making for an incredibly durable and powerful tool; we’re not sure if we prefer to test it out by watching DVDs or throwing it against the wall."

From the official press release this product should be available in July.

I've always wanted to get a projector to play with at home and for travel use, but the up front cost and the fact that the bulbs were expensive and did not last very long always deterred me. This unit uses LEDs as opposed to a regular bulb to get over two years of constant use out of one bulb. This might be the product to put me over the edge.
