Windows Media Center 2006?

Anand Lal Shimpi has more details on the slim-line Shuttle XPC, but what caught my interest was this quote from him:
"The next version of Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center Edition due out in Q3 will support cable card and content protected HDTV content over digital cable services, making this device actually useful from a HDTV standpoint."
That's the first I've heard of a newer version of MCE, and if that quote is accurate and we'll get access to encrypted HDTV from our digital cable boxes, well, that will be reason enough for me to put a PC back in my TV room. :D
