"Best video quality – mPack’s video decoding quality is 800 x 576 is the best worldwide!, comparing to Archos AV400 (704 x 480) and iRiver PMP 120 (640 x 480). It is close to DVD quality (1,080 x 720). With AV cable connected to your TV and SPDIF cable to the audio system, mPack P800 can easily be used as an entertainment center that replaced your DVD player at home. Also, our mPack supports Digital Theater System (DTS) through its connection of SPDIF cable."

PQI claims that their new Mpack 800 PVP supports "up to 90% of audio/video file format on the market without using any converting software". That sounds really promising. It supports mp3, wav, wma, OGG, AC3, DivX 3.11, 4.0, 5.0, AVI, MPG, MPEG 1/2/4, DAT, XVID and WMV and it comes with two 2,200 mAh batteries for up to 5 hours of video or 10 hours of audio playback, 27,000 Hz earphones and a IrDA remote control.

Two batteries only give you 5 hours of video playback? I'd need four batteries on a single flight to the US!!
