"On long trips, even the most resourceful children will eventually clamor for something "else" to do. One contender is Hasbro's VideoNow Color Personal Video Player. Despite its wordy moniker, the handheld device is kid-friendly and easy to use. Priced at $75, the portable device displays TV shows recorded on special discs on a small color screen. Kids can listen to the show through its built-in speaker or plug a standard pair of headphones into its jack. Designed for children ages 6 and up, VideoNow comes in six hues: blue, orange, pearl, pink, purple and sapphire blue. The device resembles a bulky cassette player that can be held comfortably in two hands. It has oversized controls that are simple enough for a 6 year old or, for that matter, a tech-phobic parent, to quickly master. Open the cover, pop in a disc, close the cover and press "Play" to start the show."

Why won't companies learn? Special disks?!?!?!! Why not just put a small DVD player in there and let us use existing DVD material, rather than these disks that Hasbro comes up with. Another idea that could have been great.... Where are the idiots they expect to pay $10 for 25 minutes of a TV show?
