"Panasonic has just upgraded their 802.11b Internet security camera to 802.11g with the new Panasonic BL-C30 Network Remote Monitoring System, which will be available in Japan sometime in September (most likely available to the U.S. later this year or early next). Like its predecessor the BL-C30 can be accessed via a PC (video streaming) or phone browser (still images only), with pan and tilt control available from both. The camera also offers motion sensors and has the ability to email you alerts when something crosses its path."

Very cool. I am still using an old Logitech Quickcam so this would be a very cool upgrade. More importantly, my advisor has been looking for a way to put a camera outside her office so she can see who is outside her office when someone knocks (but without the hassles of long/visible cables), and this would be a good solution. I wish pricing information was available.
