"The AVeL LinkPlayer (MSRP $299), which is probably the closest thing to network DVD player nirvana, features 802.11b/g connectivity via its built-in antenna and chipset, compatible with WMV9 (capable of Hi-Def 1280/720 resolution), as well as, just about every popular digital video/audio/photo format you'd want, DVI port, and a USB 2.0 connector so users can playback files from a digital camera, USB flash drive, USB flash card reader, or for attaching an external USB hard drive."

I-O Data has just introduced this new network DVD player and boy, does it look cool. It is only available in Japan now, but hopefully it will be available elsewhere soon. It supports a wide range of file formats like WMP9, DivX, Xvid, MPEG-1/2, AAC, MP3, WMA, PCM, OGG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG and is fairly inexpensive at under $300, IMHO.
