SkipJam iMedia Center

"The iMedia solution consists of four products that all work seamlessly with current analog and digital A/V components and a bevy of home networking solutions (802.11a/b/g, coax, Ethernet, Home-plug, etc.). Furthermore, PCs are not required for the system to work, but if you decide to connect them, SkipJam devices can access their content as well as store recordings and music anywhere on the network (even onto external USB hard drives connected to the back of an iMedia Center). If that isn't cool enough they also have a whole-house remote solution to access content and control attached A/V devices anywhere in the home."

The iMedia solution has a TV tuner built in so you can actually record your TV programs via this solution as well. However, it does not have a built in hard drive, but no sweat, since it is networked, you can just stream the data onto your desktop or some other networked storage device. Unfortunately, since this system is modular, you will have to buy each of the iMedia solutions (Media center, Media player, Audio player and/or Audio Player Pro) separately (at $ 799, $499, $299, and $499 respectively). However, the units are extremely feature rich and I think this could make for a very complete A/V solution once it is connected to a NAS.
