Apple eMac, New Low Price

Apple has just introduced an updated eMac offering a faster processor, Superdrive, and more spacious hard drive for $999. Apple will also continue to sell the earlier model for $799 (sans Superdrive). This makes the eMac a perfect choice for those curious about the Mac platform, but don't wish to spend too much money. The perfect low-cost Digital Media Workstation for all you digital media junkies! :wink:
Of course, if you're not interested in Mac desktops, check out the iBook line instead.
[UPDATE] Forgot to mention academic pricing on the low-end model is now $599.
