Digital Home Thoughts: Gmail Screenshots & More

Yes, I know, I have been posting a ton on Gmail, but seriously, this system really intrigues me. From a DMT point of view, think of the number of people that will be mailing large media files (MP3, WMA, WMV, AAC) back and forth. I wonder how Google's mail gateway is going to be able to handle/limit this, because they certainly have the bandwidth to move those kinds of files. Furthermore, Slashdot is reporting that The Register has an interesting article which "details the new privacy concerns about Gmail's privacy policy and Google's tracking habits. The policy states that Google will not guarantee the deletion of emails that are archived even if you cancel your account."
