Apple's legal sharks are swimming the waters again. This time StarBrite Solutions, maker of the pBop...an iPod-like media player software for Pocket PC devices, has come under fire. pBob is nothing more than a $20 software program for playing back MP3 or WMA files on Windows Mobile handhelds. But the software does resemble the iPod's user interface. That, says Apple Legal, is a big NO NO. StarBrite is cooperating fully with Apple on this matter, and is taking measures to comply with the cease and desist order by moving control buttons around to make the interface look less like the iPod.

Don't you just love lawyers?
