On a related matter, I really need to remind everyone that they should have the instant email notification turned on in their vBulletin settings so that when I send a private message about a prize, you get notified. In order to minimize the complexity of shipping prizes, I've been trying to contact the vendors with one message that contains all the winners. In the last batch of winners, I waited four days and still some people hadn't responded to my private message with their shipping information - and this of course means a delay for everyone in that prize group. So please, make it easy on everyone and ensure you're either checking your private messages regularly, or are getting email notifications when private messages do arrive. Thank you!

Astute Digital Home Thoughts reader jaxim noticed that when I was doing my wrap-up post with the #20 contests...there were really only 19 of them! if you look at my write-up on the 20th contest, I actually state that it's the 19th and final giveaway, yet I still gave it the title of the 20th contest. I did the write-ups for the last dozen or so contests all in the same night, frankly in a rush, so it's not surprising that I made an error. But guess what? My error is your gain! I contact my friends at HP and they offered up one of their brand new HP Elite Autofocus Webcams, a 3 megapixels marvel of technology valued at $99 USD. They also sent me one to review, so look for my write-up on that the week after next. Want to win this webcam? Keep reading.



Here's how to enter: just post a message as a reply telling who you'd use this to communicate with - friends? Grandparents? Children? Husband or wife in a far away land? The Status of the Contests

So I go through all the trouble of collecting nearly $7000 in prizes to give away from some generous vendors, and on the day the contest is supposed to be over, I'm busy fighting a server hack instead. Quite unfair to all of you, no? Here's what's going to happen: later today or early tomorrow, I'm going to post a summary round-up of all the contest links thus far, and give everyone one last opportunity to enter the contests. Then, I'll close down all the contests and start drawing for the winners, one contest at a time, on Friday morning around 9am. We'll start with the earliest posted contest and work our way forward - I'll do several per day and try to get through them fairly quickly. I might lump a few together per announcement - we'll see. Watch for my round-up post and enter to win if you haven't already done so...
